Wojtek Jakubiec

co-founder / creative director

Wojtek Jakubiec is a Polish Canadian photographer, cinematographer, and director. After graduating from Dawson College’s Commercial Photography program in 2009 — where he received the Patron Award for his documentary Stories from Behind the Bell — he worked in advertising and pursued personal photo projects, including Guerreros, a series on Mexico’s boxing subculture.
In 2022, he shifted to filmmaking at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. His debut film, The Company We Keep, won Best Documentary, Director, and Cinematography at the 2023 Concordia Film Festival and screened at VIFF. His follow-up, On the Waterfront, received awards and selections in Taiwan and Boston. His latest film, The Art of Fencing, was produced by CBC and released in 2025.

Arian Salarian

co-founder / managing director

Arian Salarian is an Iranian Canadian filmmaker based in Montreal. His work explores themes of identity, displacement, and class struggle, shaped by his experience immigrating from Iran in 2017. He is currently studying Film Production with a minor in Sociology at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. His 2023 short The Sentenced was a semi-finalist at Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival and screened internationally. In 2024, he directed Novice, a French-language short exploring moral conflict and feminine resilience, which will premiere at the 2025 Fantasia International Film Festival. Arian has produced several short films spanning fiction, documentary, and socially engaged cinema.

Mostafa Alimoradi

co-founder / director of operations

Mostafa Alimoradi is an Iranian filmmaker based in Montreal whose work explores psychological tension, social critique, and cultural identity. With a background in psychology and formal training in film from both Iran and Concordia University, his films blend poetic mysticism with contemporary critique. His recent work examines systemic bias and cultural displacement through a cross-cultural lens. In addition to directing and producing, Mostafa has worked as an editor and post-production supervisor, and frequently collaborates with experimental filmmaker Richard Kerr. He currently serves as a Production Coordinator at Concordia’s film program, mentoring emerging voices in Canadian cinema.

Arielle Legault

creative producer

Arielle Legault is a Montreal-based filmmaker with a background in directing, editing, and production. Raised in London and Hong Kong, she began making films at a young age before returning to Montreal to pursue formal studies in cinema. She holds a diploma in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University and is completing her BFA in Film Production at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Arielle has worked on dozens of student and independent films and is committed to telling Québec stories while pushing the boundaries of creativity and imagination.

Jahan Salarian

client relations lead

Jahan Salarian is a Toronto-based media producer and client relations lead. He began his career in 2022 as a freelance videographer, developing a hands-on approach to visual storytelling through work in real estate, automotive media, restaurant features, and branded content.
His ability to understand client needs and translate them into compelling visuals quickly earned him a strong reputation in the local creative industry. At Probed Media, Jahan bridges the gap between artistic vision and client collaboration, ensuring each project is executed with clarity, purpose, and impact.
